new gown

Feb 14, 2012

I sewed a new flannel nightgown for my growing girl.  It will be a replacement for this one, again here, and this one, again here, both made for her by her grandma.  She wears them all the time, loves them, wears them out so they are coming apart.  I am so very happy to make her a new one and to see her dance around in it.  It’s amazing to see how quickly she grows.  My beautiful girl.

I love that you sew for your kids J. My mom sewed every piece of clothing I wore up until Jr. High. I remember the day I got to wear a purchased pair of jeans!

Such a pretty night gown! Reminds me of the cute little gowns I used to wear (though my mom didn’t make them 😉 ) Happy Hearts Day to you!

P.S.- I replied to the comment you left on my blog about the paper and notes. Hopefully it came your way!
