I’ve not considered myself a pet person for quite some time now, but, largely due to the fact that my kids love them so much, these pooches are growing on me.  The dogs belong to my parents-in-law with whom we currently live until Matt returns from deployment.  The kids and I have enjoyed playing and snuggling, running and petting these sweet dogs… and I’m grateful for the extra bit of joy in a time of a good bit of sadness.  The gray but lovely Montana weather pictured above happened several weeks ago and has now passed into gray, frigid weather.  I’m reminding myself on a daily basis to be patient and NOT run back to the Florida warmth… not just yet.
