We went to the beach in the evening, after waiting all day inside for the outside to cool down enough, and right before that cloud turned into a thunderstorm.  It’s always a cool experience to be at the beach when the moon is big.  The evening after this one, in fact, we went on a spontaneous family trip after dark to see the full moon over the water.  Nighttime on the beach is such a big adventure, so exciting and kind of scary.  Matt, who is currently taking some time off work to rest, thought up the idea and I’m so glad he did.  We LOVE Matt when he’s on vacation; he’s so fun and happy!
