gulf coast sunset

Mar 12, 2014

You are all about to be bombarded with blog posts full of photos from our visit with Matt’s mom, Jean.  This is because, while she was here, we had some much needed vacation time: We went to the beach every day, took a trip to the Gulf Coast for an amazingly beautiful experience of the ocean, made hula hoops and other craft projects, visited a botanic garden, went back to our favorite beach here in Jax (boneyard beach), and generally hung around and took things easy.  We all needed it.  It’s actually easier for me to post lots of pictures rather than go through them trying to find the “right” and best ones, and also Matt has been waiting to see our photos as well, so enjoy the show coming your way!

    These are sooooooo beautiful.
I’ve been stuck inside with a sick kid all week, just as the weather has FINALLY gotten above freezing here. The winter has been so long and I am aching for the sun and summer so much it hurts. Closing my eyes and wishing I was there enjoying that gorgeous sunset!
