Ischia, a beautiful volcanic island just off the coast of Naples, is known for its thermal spas.  I had heard about a couple of thermal parks on the island that were fun for kids and families.  So we went on an adventure!  From trying to figure out how to park at the port, where to buy tickets for the ferry, how to find the ferry, and how to get from the ferry to the park, it was definitely a tad stressful at times.  I spoke my very basic Italian words, with some pointing and smiling, and got the information and help we needed (the kids were proud of me!).  We found our way from the ferry to the thermal park, where we relaxed in a gorgeous botanic garden with about 15 different thermal pools of varying temperatures, styles and depths.  It was amazing.  We found some gelato, of course, and took the ferry back.  What a great family experience!
