Ashton and I took a quick trip to Bruges and Ghent, Belgium shortly after she arrived home. We walked a lot, experienced magical villages covered in Christmas lights, ate waffles and fries, drank our fill of hot chocolate and mulled wine while strolling through Christmas Markets, and let adventure and spontaneity lead us. We had fun, as we always do.
