For our Thanksgiving weekend we took the camper down the coast- first to Maratea where we spent a night on the top of the world and then walked to giant Jesus, then down the coast to the Calabrian town of Diamante where we stayed at a campeggio right on the beach, and finally up to Marina di Camerota where we drove way up on a crazy dirt road to another mountaintop for the night. You gotta read our camper logbook for the details, but we had lots of adventures, food, and incredibly breathtaking views. I definitely want to go back during the spring when there is more happening.
